Only Human

This body of work examines the human condition. As Humans we are full of emotion. Intermittently we forget that we are only that. When this happens our ego can take on a god complex or perceive others as godlike. In addition the opposite can happen we expect others to be machine like and emotionless. It is important to remember our humanity because in the end its all that we really are.

I explore the use of several different type of printmaking techniques, often using several in tandem to create a piece. I use the mediums to create a visualization of an emotion. I often utilize color to evoke the nature of the emotion in the piece.
